Dental Crowns
A dental crown can return structure and strength to a cracked, broken, or decayed tooth. Most today are made from porcelain, allowing you to maintain a fully white smile as you protect your tooth and your smile’s good alignment. Porcelain crowns are also durable and long-lasting.
When you come to Distinguished Dental for help, we will design your crown from a mold of your tooth to fit comfortably and hold its position for years, if not a lifetime. To apply your crown, Dr. Sheri McIntosh will conservatively reduce the remaining portion of your tooth until your crown can fit over it. Your natural tooth will act as an anchor for your restoration, for strong, functional results.
CEREC Same-Day Dental Crowns
If the idea of waiting weeks for a traditional crown does not sound like something you want to pursue, you can always opt for CEREC same-day dental crowns. As a faster way to rebuild damaged smiles, these CEREC crowns can be created in-house while you wait. This means that on the day you arrive for treatment, you’ll also receive a fully restored smile that works, looks, and feels comfortable and complete once again.

Dental Inlays & Onlays
When a cavity or damage occurs to a tooth but does not require either a tooth-colored filling or dental crown, our team can deliver inlays and onlays. These uniquely designed restorations are color-matched to blend in with existing tooth enamel. While an inlay treats the center of a tooth, an onlay is positioned on the cusps of a tooth and can cover both the inside and outside areas.
Tooth-Colored Fillings
Once a cavity forms, the only effective way to minimize the further spread of decay is to have a tooth-colored filling put into place. Using biocompatible composite resin that is color-matched to existing enamel, it is applied once the tooth is thoroughly cleaned. Creating a tight seal, this form of restorative dentistry treatment is minimally invasive and can last up to a decade with proper care.
Full Mouth Reconstruction
Having multiple dental problems that hinder your ability to perform daily tasks like eating and speaking can be difficult. Usually, a single dental service is enough to address the problem; however, when chips, cracks, and even missing teeth are the reality, our team can personalize a plan that focuses on full mouth reconstruction. By compiling multiple services into one treatment plan, we can rebuild and restore your smile in less time.
